We are an online store, offering Free Delivery anywhere in South Africa, for all active subscribers.
We are powered by Hyper Paint, the leading paint experts for over 40 years – with multiple branches spanned across Johannesburg.
Do I have to be subscriber to make a purchase on Paint Prime?
We pride ourselves on our exclusive membership benefits, therefore, only active Paint Prime subscribers can make a purchase on our website.
How soon can I start using your service?
You can effortlessly sign-up to any of our Paint Prime packages by using our intuitive website.
You’ll be able to enjoy your subscription benefits as soon as you have successfully signed up and have an active package.
How long do I have to wait for my free 20L of paint?
We promise a next day dispatch, after you have placed your order.
As soon as you have successfully signed up to one of our packages, you can start using your subscription benefits.
Please note : You have to order your Free paint in order for us to process the order.
How do I stop recurring billing?
Paint Prime is a month to month subscription service.
The recurring billing feature is enabled by default. Meaning that you will automatically be billed for a new subscription, once your current subscription ends.
We are a flexible subscription service. There are no contracts, so you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription at anytime.
How do I start my Paint Prime subcription?
Browse our website to discover the package that has been ideally created for you.
Once you have found your desired package – You can effortlessly join the Paint Prime experience by clicking on the “Sign-up” button and following our easy on screen process.
How long does a subscription last?
A subscription starts from the day you sign up and lasts for 30 days until the next auto-renewal – Unless a subscription is cancelled before the renewal date.
How long am I locked in for?
Paint Prime is a flexible subscription service, which means there are no contracts so you can cancel at anytime.
The best part is there’s no cancelation fees and you’re able to re-join seamlessly whenever you require.
If i cancel mid-plan am i still entitled to my perks?
If you cancel your subscription, you’ll still receive your Free 20L of paint or voucher for the current month (if you haven’t already redeemed it).
Your discounts and perks will remain active until your current subscription period ends.
However, unused vouchers or free paint must be redeemed before the next billing day. Once the new month begins, all unused vouchers from the previous month(s) will expire and can no longer be used.
After I join Paint Prime, can I still pick up in store?
Absolutely! While Paint Prime is exclusively online, you’re more than welcome to pop into any of our Hyper Paint stores. You can collect your order, browse colours, or get assistance from one of our friendly experts.
Please remember that all orders and coupon redemptions must be processed online first. Once that’s done, you can either collect your order in store or enjoy the convenience of free delivery—one of the many perks of being a Paint Prime member.

Can I Return my free 20L of paint?
Yes, you’ll be able to return your paint if it has not been opened yet.
In fact, all members can return any standard product that has not been mixed, opened, or used.
Delivery & Returns Disclaimer
- Paint Prime offers free delivery nationwide for active members.
- Please note that return shipping and collection fees are the responsibility of the customer, unless Paint Prime is at fault due to an incorrect item or colour being dispatched.
- If the correct item and colour have been delivered, Paint Prime will not cover any delivery or collection costs associated with returns, exchanges, or refunds.
What if I don’t need my free 20L of paint or voucher right now?
Paint Prime offers accumulative deals, meaning if you don’t redeem your free 20L of paint or voucher for the month, it will carry over to the next month.
However, all free paint and discount vouchers have a 60-day expiration from the date they are created, so make sure to use them within this period.
If you cancel your subscription and haven’t used your vouchers or redeemed your free paint, you will lose access to them once the subscription ends.
How much does delivery cost?
Our Paint Prime subscribers get to enjoy Free Delivery on all orders, no matter how big or small the order is.
How do I receive my discount?
Once you have successfully signed up and have an active subscription, your discounts will be automatically applied once you’ve logged in to your account.
Do vouchers or free paint have an expiration date?
Yes, all vouchers and free paint have a 60-day expiration date from the date they are created. The expiration date is specified on each voucher for your convenience.
We encourage you to redeem your vouchers or claim your free paint before the expiration date to make the most of your subscription benefits.

OK , I have A Prime flexible subscription, how do redeem my voucher?
Once you have successfully signed up for our Prime Flexible package and it is active, you will automatically have access to your premium perks.
As an active Prime Flexible subscriber, you’re entitled to a R600 voucher (monthly).
You can redeem your voucher by following the below steps :
- Login to your account, using your Paint Prime credentials.
- Browse our website
- Add all of your desired products to your cart.
- View your cart, you’ll see a list of coupons that you have available.
- Click on your coupon and it will be automatically applied to your order.
- Proceed to checkout and complete your order.
- Once your order has been completed, we’ll process and deliver.
OK , I have A Prime D.I.Y subscription, how do I redeem my free 20L of paint?
Once you have successfully signed up for our Prime D.I.Y package and it is active, you will automatically have access to your premium perks.
As an active Prime D.I.Y subscriber, you’re entitled to a Free 20L of Bergermaster Nukote PVA
You can choose your desired colour and redeem your Free 20L of paint by following the below steps :
- Login to your account, using your Paint Prime credentials.
- Search for Bergermaster Nukote PVA.
- Scroll through our variety of available colours, select your desired colour in a 20L size, and add your item to your cart.
- View your cart, and you’ll see a list of coupons that you have available.
- Click on your coupon and it will be automatically applied to your order.
- Proceed to checkout and complete your order.
- Once your order has been completed, we’ll process and deliver.
OK , I have A Prime Decorator subscription, how do I redeem my free 20L of paint?
Once you have successfully signed up for our Prime Decorator package and it is active, you will automatically have access to your premium perks.
As an active Prime Decorator subscriber, you’re entitled to a Free 20L of Rockgrip Supertex or a Free 20L of Bergermaster Soft Sheen
You can choose your desired colour and redeem your Free 20L of paint by following the below steps :
- Login to your account using your Paint Prime credentials.
- Search for Rockgrip Supertex or Bergermaster Soft Sheen.
- Scroll through our variety of available colours, select your desired colour in a 20L size, and add your item to your cart.
- View your cart, and you’ll see a list of coupons that you have available.
- Click on your coupon and it will be automatically applied to your order.
- Proceed to checkout and complete your order.
- Once your order has been completed, we’ll process and deliver.
I am a Prime Decorator subscriber , if I choose one perk, I am locked into that product monthly?
No, you’re not limited to a specific item.
Our Prime Decorator package offers you a choice between a Free 20L Rockgrip Supertex or a Free 20L Bergermaster Soft Sheen
You are able to alternate your choice each month.
You’re not limited to what you receive monthly.
For example :
- Month one : You may choose a Free 20L Rockgrip Supertex
- Month two : You may choose a Free 20L Bergermaster Soft Sheen
What If I'd like to Upgrade or Downgrade my Subscription?
You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription quite easily if you amend the subscription service package on your profile, You may also send us a request via email to sales@paintprime.co.za.
Your upgrade/downgrade will only be processed the month after your free 20L has been sent, try to update before we send it out.
How do I cancel my subscription ?
You can cancel at anytime by requesting a subscription cancellation via email cancellations@paintprime.co.za
You can always re-join our services in the future.
Can I redeem my vouchers or free paint after cancelling my subscription?
No, once your subscription ends, any unused vouchers or free paint will be forfeited.
If you cancel your subscription, you must redeem your free paint or vouchers before the subscription officially ends. Under no circumstances will you be able to use your vouchers or redeem free paint after your subscription has been cancelled, regardless of when the vouchers were issued or how many were accumulated.
To avoid losing your benefits, please ensure that you redeem your vouchers or free paint while your subscription is still active.
